Chamfer Trimmer
This trimmer adds a smooth, rounded edge to a range of materials including melamine, veneer, plastic, PVC and solid wood, enhancing the final finish of a project whilst reducing the risk of chipped edges. Precision engineered one piece construction ensures perfect registration on 90 degree edges, trimming excess edge banding whilst applying a gentle radius. Ergonomically designed for comfortable one handed use, the trimmer is finished in a black anodised low friction coating, sliding effortlessly along an edge.
Three interchangeable blades can be selected according to the thickness of the edge banding material, with the R1 blade selected for 0.8 to 2mm thick edge banding, the R2 blade for 1.5 to 2mm thick edge banding, and the R3 blade for chamfering solid wood edges. Each double ended blade is laser etched for identification, and constructed from a high grade of tungsten steel, selected for its long lasting hardness and superior edge retention. ©
